A 15-year-old boy has been apprehended by police in Trowbridge following numerous reports of a youth seen carrying a suspected firearm at approximately 6pm yesterday.
Local law enforcement officers swiftly responded to the reports, attending the scene to conduct extensive area searches and CCTV inquiries to ascertain the nature of the situation.
As a result of their efforts, a 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm. The individual remains in custody at Gablecross for questioning as the investigation progresses.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, and authorities are working diligently to gather further information and ensure the safety of the community.
