After falling from a third-floor window in Southampton, a man is fighting for his life.
His fall from a property on Northam Road shortly after midday today has prompted an investigation.
According to police, a 57-year-old man suffered “potentially life-threatening injuries.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital, where he is still being treated.
Enquiries remain ongoing at this time to ascertain the exact circumstances of the incident,” a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said. “There is likely to be an increased police presence in the area this evening.”
According to one eyewitness, an air ambulance landed in Hoglands Park.
Six police cars were also seen, and the road was reportedly partially closed with police tape.
