Police were called to Sneinton Boulevard in Sneinton shortly after 1.15 a.m. today (Saturday 14 January) after receiving a report of a man seriously injured in a fight inside an address. Responding cops found the injured victim quickly and arrested a man after further inspection of the house. The victim, 27, is still in the hospital with serious head and shoulder injuries. A 35-year-old man was detained on suspicion of causing great bodily harm with intent. He is still being held in custody as the investigation into what happened continues. This incident has left one man in a serious condition in hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries,” said Detective Sergeant Lee Cattell of Nottinghamshire Police. “Our officers were quickly on scene and were able to administer first aid before paramedics arrived and the victim was taken to hospital. “I want to reassure the public that we do believe those involved are known to each other and there is no wider risk to the community.
