UPDATED:Air ambulance has been called to Tonbridge

The Kent air ambulance has been called to Tonbridge this morning (June 21) Paramedics and the onboard doctor have attended a collision involving a woman who’s been involved in a smash outside Woodland School, in Lawrence Road. Police have closed the road and surrounding roads are slow as a result of the closures. South East coast ambulance has also sent a number of resources to the incident and Kent fire and rescue have also sent three appliances. Kent Fire and Rescue Service say that they have rescued a person trapped under a vehicle near Lawrence Road in Tonbridge. Three fire engines were sent to the scene and crews used airbags and hydraulic rescue equipment to lift the vehicle and release the casualty. The casualty was then passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics and the air ambulance. More to follow
