Arson probe launched in Sittingbournr
Officers from Kent Police are investigating a reported arson near Sittingbourne. Kent Police was called at around 5am on Friday 24 August 2018 regarding two cars parked in a layby off Tunstall Road, Tunstall that had been set alight. A man was reportedly seen walking in the area prior to the fire holding a petrol can. Kent Fire and Rescue Service and patrols went to the scene where the fires were extinguished. Officers are treating the fires as suspicious and are asking anyone with information to call 01622 604100 quoting crime reference XY/53537/18.
