An eight-month-old baby girl is in serious condition after being attacked by an XL Bully-type dog at a property on Siskin Close.
Emergency services were called to the scene just after 2:30 pm on Wednesday following reports that the infant had been bitten. The baby was airlifted to a hospital in London, where she is receiving medical care.

Dog Seized and Destroyed
Police have confirmed that the dog, identified as a registered XL Bully breed, was seized following the attack and later destroyed.
Arrests Made
An 18-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control. They remain in custody as investigations continue.
