A boy has been left injured following a violent robbery in Central Park, Harold Hill, during which his bike was reportedly stolen.
The incident took place at approximately 7.30pm on Tuesday, April 8, near Petersfield Avenue, and is currently under investigation by the Metropolitan Police.
According to police, the victim—whose age has not been confirmed—was assaulted during the theft. He sustained minor injuries, though further details on the extent of those injuries have not been disclosed.
In a statement, a Met Police spokesperson said:
“Police were called to a report of an assault and a theft in Central Park, off Petersfield Avenue, Harold Hill at around 19:21hrs on Tuesday, 8 April.
A boy suffered minor injuries during the incident and reportedly had a bike stolen.
Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.”
Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information, including CCTV or mobile phone footage, to come forward.
