A teenager has been taken to hospital following a brutal fight involving knives, machetes, and an axe in Pennyfields Park, Poplar, on Wednesday evening.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 5.46pm on 26 March after reports of a stabbing amid violent scenes involving four men. The attack, described by witnesses as “terrifying,” unfolded in broad daylight in the Tower Hamlets neighbourhood.
The London Ambulance Service confirmed the swift response:

“We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance.
The first paramedic arrived in under five minutes. We treated one patient and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
The Metropolitan Police also issued a statement:
