Major Fire at Busbridge Hall in Godalming After BBQ Sparks Blaze
A serious fire has broken out at Busbridge Hall in Godalming after a BBQ spread to a room of the property, prompting a large-scale emergency response involving fire crews from three counties.
The blaze has triggered a significant incident, with eight fire engines currently on scene, along with two aerial ladder platforms working to contain the flames from above. Crews from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) are being supported by additional appliances from Hampshire and West Sussex Fire and Rescue Services.

Residents Urged to Avoid Area and Close Windows
Authorities have issued a public safety alert urging local residents to avoid the area and keep all windows and doors closed due to smoke and ongoing firefighting activity.
The fire, which reportedly started from a BBQ before spreading into the property, is now being tackled with high-pressure hose reels and specialist aerial ladder units.
