CCTV image issued following Margate assault

Officers have issued an image of a man they would like to speak to as he may be able to assist with their enquiries into a report of an assault in Margate. Between 12.30am and 12.50am on Sunday 30 June 2019 a group of people were walking down Ethelbert Crescent near to the junction with Edgar Road when a man approached them. It was reported an altercation took place and the two women in the group were assaulted, receiving injuries. One of the women was taken to a local hospital. Officers attended the scene and enquiries are ongoing.
