CCTV Images Released in Hedge End Shoplifting Investigation – (ID 1614460)

Police have released CCTV images as part of an investigation into a high-value shoplifting incident at a Sainsbury’s store in Hedge End, in a bid to identify several suspects believed to be involved.

The theft occurred at approximately 7:50pm on Wednesday, 12 February, at the Sainsbury’s branch on Tollbar Way, where £2,631 worth of goods were stolen. Among the items taken were Nicorette products and razors.

Appeal to Identify Four Men

Officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary are looking to identify four men in connection with the incident. The men are described as:

  • White, aged between 23 and 35 years old
  • Wearing oversized coats, baseball caps, and black and grey tracksuits

Police believe the individuals seen in the CCTV images could have vital information that could assist with the ongoing investigation.

Witnesses and Footage Sought

Investigators are also appealing to members of the public who may have witnessed the theft or who were in the area at the time and may possess relevant footage. This includes CCTV, mobile phone recordings, dash cam, or doorbell camera footage.
