Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a tragic two-vehicle collision in Marden, Kent, that claimed the life of a motorcyclist.
The incident took place on Sunday, 8 September 2024, at approximately 3:40pm on Maidstone Road and involved a white Fiat Panda and a green Kawasaki motorcycle.
Emergency services, including Kent Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene, but sadly, the motorbike rider, a man in his 50s, was pronounced deceased. His next of kin have been informed.
Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant information to come forward. They are particularly keen to hear from motorists who may have dashcam footage, as well as residents with private CCTV that might have captured the event.
