Detectives investigating a robbery in which a woman was punched in the face have arrested a suspect.

The victim was waiting for a bus when she was approached by a man in Alfreton Road, Nottingham, close to the junction with Palin Street, at around 7.30am on 27 January 2023.

He tried to seize the woman’s mobile phone and, when she resisted, struck her before grabbing the device from her hand.
