A farming family visiting London to participate in a rally has been left stranded after their pickup truck, parked just 15 meters from their hotel near the ExCeL London venue, was stolen.

The theft, which occurred less than three hours after the family’s arrival, has left them without critical belongings, including a pram, baby rocker, clothes, and other essentials. The vehicle held sentimental value, as it was the last vehicle owned by the father of James, one of the family members.

“We’re Now Stranded”

The family shared their ordeal on social media, highlighting the challenges they now face with their young child. Among the items left with them are a Lua crib and a sterilizing kit, but they are without a car seat base or means of transport.
This incident highlights ongoing concerns about vehicle theft and the challenges faced by rural families travelling to urban areas for events and advocacy efforts.
