Firefighters Battle Warehouse Blaze at Poundland in Worthing

Emergency crews from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called into action this afternoon after a fire broke out in the warehouse of Poundland on Montague Street in Worthing.

A fire service spokesperson issued a statement saying, “There is a lot of smoke in the area, so we would urge people to avoid the area for the time being to allow firefighters to work safely.”

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire, and no injuries have been reported at this time.
