The revamp turns the beloved venue into a vibrant cultural and community hotspot, boosting accessibility and facilities for decades to come.
Theatre’s Big Birthday Bash and Grand Reveal
On 10 September, the theatre celebrated its 60th anniversary with a star-studded concert, marking the completion of the ambitious refurbishment. VIPs, including His Royal Highness The Duke of scotland/”>scotland/”>scotland/Edinburghedinburgh/”>Edinburgh, attended the bash, enjoying performances that spanned six decades of theatrical history. They also toured the brand-new accessible spaces designed for community use.
Transformations for the Future

- Upgraded seating areas with accessible bars
