LIverpool Street evacuated after fuel leak

Buildings have been evacuated while police investigate a possible fuel leak at a property in Liverpool. Merseyside Police said they received a report of concern for the welfare of people inside a flat in Falkner Street, Toxteth. A cordon has been put in place and properties on the road evacuated “as a precaution”, the force said. Residents living nearby have been asked to remain indoors and keep windows closed.
