Man arrested for Murder after body find at Bestival
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a young woman was found dead in woodland at Bestival this morning. Holby City and former Coronation Street star John Michie, who originally gained fame in Taggart, confirmed the “tragic death” of his 25-year-old daughter Louella – as a man, 28, was arrested on suspicion of murder. Dorset Police were called to the festival just before 1am today after friends expressed concerns for Louella after she vanished. A 28-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder “to enable officers to conduct an interview under caution to help establish the full circumstances”, the force said. In a statement, Bestival said, “Following today’s news announcement, the team at Bestival are devastated to hear about this tragic news. We continue to support the police in their ongoing investigation and our thoughts and prayers are with all the woman’s family and friends.” Enquiries are now underway to establish how she died. A post-mortem examination is set to be carried out to reveal the cause of death.
