A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital following an incident late last night in Vauxhall. Emergency services were called to Kennington Lane near Goding Street shortly before midnight on Saturday, 9 November, after reports of an injured man.
Police officers and London Ambulance Service crews arrived on the scene at approximately 11:51 p.m. and located the man, who had sustained injuries. He was transported to the hospital, where medical staff assessed his condition as non-life-threatening.
The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Officers are currently conducting inquiries to understand how the man sustained his injuries.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated: “Police were called at 11:51 hrs on Saturday, 9 November, to reports of an injured male in Kennington Lane, SE11. Officers attended along with LAS colleagues. A man, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Enquiries are ongoing to establish how he came to be injured.”
