Man stabbed in Hillingdon

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a man was stabbed in Hillingdon. Police were called at around 19:50hrs on Saturday, 26 May, to a disturbance in the area of Joel Street, Northwood. Officers attended the location, but the group had dispersed prior to the arrival of police. Shortly after 20:00hrs, police were alerted by London’s Air Ambulance to an injured man at a nearby address. It was established that the man had been stabbed during the disturbance in Joel Street. The 35-year-old man was taken to hospital where his condition is described as not life-threatening or life-changing. Detectives from Hillingdon CID are investigating. At this early stage, officers believe the suspects were around six males, described as black and aged in their late teens or early 20s. Anyone who witnessed a disturbance near to the KFC restaurant in Joel Street or has information that may assist police should call Hillingdon CID on 020 8246 1447 quoting reference 7577may26.
