Police Appeal After Staff ‘Assaulted’ at High-End Birmingham Restaurant

 

Police have issued an appeal for information after a member of staff was allegedly assaulted at Piccolino, a high-end Italian restaurant in Oozells Square, Brindley Place, Birmingham. The incident, which took place on Monday, August 19, also involved damage to a glass door at the restaurant.

West Midlands Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident. Authorities are urging anyone who recognises the individual or has information that could assist in the investigation to come forward.

A spokesperson for the police said: “Recognise this person? We want to speak to him after a member of staff was assaulted at Piccolino in Birmingham. If you have any information, please get in touch via Live Chat quoting crime reference 20/774061/24.”

The incident has raised concerns among businesses in the city’s vibrant dining and entertainment district, as safety remains a priority for both staff and patrons.
