Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a woman in connection with a hate crime that occurred in Homerton on Sunday, October 27. At approximately 5:15 a.m., a man was walking along Homerton High Street when he was verbally abused and then assaulted with a glass bottle by an unknown woman, who subsequently fled the scene.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police by calling 101 or messaging @MetCC on X, quoting CAD 1890/27Oct. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or visiting crimestoppers-uk.org.
