Police in Huddersfield are appealing for information following a serious assault outside licensed premises that left a man with critical injuries.
At approximately 3.59am today Police received a call from ambulance staff reporting an assault outside the Revolution Bar located on Cross Church Street.
Officers swiftly responded to the scene and discovered a 23-year-old man in an unconscious state. Recognising the severity of his condition, emergency medical services promptly transported him to the hospital. The victim’s injuries are currently classified as life-threatening.
A forensic examination team has established a scene in Cross Church Street to conduct a thorough investigation.
The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team has taken charge of the investigation into this incident. They are urgently seeking witnesses who may have observed the assault or possess any footage that could assist in their inquiries.
