Kent Police are appealing for witnesses and footage following a serious road traffic collision in Riverhead, Sevenoaks, which left a man seriously injured.
It has been confirmed that the Ford Fiesta was involved in a police pursuit prior to the crash. As a result, a mandatory referral has been made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) in line with standard procedure.
Public Appeal
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now urging members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist their investigation.
They are particularly interested in:
- Witnesses who saw the vehicles before or during the collision
- Private CCTV from local residents
- Dashcam footage from drivers in the area around the time of the crash
