Police Appeal for Witnesses After Two Children Injured in Ashford Collision

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision in Ashford that left two young boys seriously injured.

The incident occurred at 4:03pm on Monday, 16 December 2024, in Moatfield Meadow, Kingsnorth, and involved a white Hyundai and two pedestrian children, aged eight and five.

Emergency Response

Kent Police officers, alongside the South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the scene. Both boys were taken to a London hospital, where they remain in a serious but stable condition.

The road was closed for several hours to allow emergency services to respond and reopened at approximately 10:30pm that evening.

Police Investigation

Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision and are urging anyone with information to come forward. In particular, they are seeking:

  • Witnesses who have not yet spoken to police
  • Motorists who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time
