Police Appeal for Witnesses Following Serious Assault in Sittingbourne

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a serious assault in Sittingbourne left a teenager hospitalised with stab wounds.

Incident Details

Officers were called to Rectory Road shortly after midnight on Thursday, February 27, following reports of an injured man.

Emergency services, including South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the scene and treated the victim, a man in his late teens, for a stab wound. He was later airlifted to a London hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Arrest Made

Later that morning, a 19-year-old local woman was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken into police custody.

Appeal for Witnesses

Kent Police have launched an investigation and are urging anyone who may have seen an altercation or disturbance in the Rectory Road area to come forward.

Drivers with dashcam footage and residents with private CCTV are also urged to check their recordings for any evidence that could assist the investigation.
