A 17-year-old moped rider was seriously injured after a crash with a cyclist at the junction of Spixworth Road and Chartwell Road at 6.48pm.

The teen was riding an orange Zontes ZT125 moped when it collided with a cyclist, who then fled the scene without stopping. The injured rider was rushed to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and remains there awaiting further treatment.

Police Hunt Cyclist Who Bolted

Officers want to track down the cyclist who failed to stop after the smash. He is described as a man in his 40s to 50s, riding a red bike. Witnesses say he headed down St Clements Hill immediately after the crash.
