Police incident at Manchester Budget Hotel

This is the scene of the police operation at the Ibis Hotel in Salford, Manchester. Witnesses claim that armed Police stormed the building. At least three ambulances have been pictured outside the building on Trafford Road. Officers were spotted inside the foyer of the hotel while emergency vehicles lined the pavement outside at around 9.30pm on Thursday evening. A man who asked not to named saw a woman emerge from the hotel complex with all blood on her shirt. it is understood that a car mowed down a young child with the car of the hotel complex. Police are standing guard at the doors to the hotel. Staff at the hotel have refused to comment. A spokesperson for both Greater Manchester Police has sadly confirmed hat a young boy has died. A young boy died after being hit by a car outside a hotel in Salford Quays tonight. Police were first called to reports of a collision near the Ibis on Trafford Road We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a child. The Serious Collision Investigation Unit and other emergency services attended the scene. A little boy has sadly died.
