As part of an arrest operation, police in Bradford arrested three men in connection with recent allegations of child sexual abuse.
During a three-day operation earlier this week, the suspects were apprehended at Bradford addresses.
All three men, aged 40 to 66, were interviewed and released pending further investigation.
The allegations concern offences reported having occurred in the District between 1999 and 2002, as well as one victim.
Bradford District Police Detective Chief Inspector Al Weekes stated:
The safety and protection of children remain West Yorkshire Police’s top priority.” This investigation demonstrates the Force’s ongoing commitment to investigating both recent and non-recent sexual assaults on children.
Child sexual abuse and exploitation is an abhorrent and heinous crime that affects some of our society’s most vulnerable members.
“Tackling child abuse is not something that can be done by one agency alone; we collaborate with local governments, other organisations, and charities to support victims, bring perpetrators to justice, and make our communities safer.”
