Police probe Canterbury Phone robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery and assault that took place in Canterbury during the early hours of Saturday, October 12, 2024.

At approximately 1:30 a.m., a man was walking along Stour Street while using his phone when another man reportedly attempted to steal the device. After the victim resisted, the offender assaulted him before fleeing the scene empty-handed.
Anyone with information who has not yet come forward is urged to contact Kent Police at 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/172832/24. Alternatively, anonymous reports can be made through Crimestoppers at 0800 555111 or via their website.
