Police probe Gillingham Sex Attack with CCTV release

Detectives investigating a report of a sexual assault in Gillingham are releasing CCTV images of a person who may have important information.

At approximately 2:20 am on Monday, 15 July 2024, a woman was in Trafalgar Street when it is alleged a man she did not know touched her under her clothing. The victim challenged the suspect, who then fled the scene into Canterbury Street.

Investigators have been making enquiries into the incident and are now able to release CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist their enquiries.

Kent Police are urging anyone who recognises the man in the images to come forward. If you have any information, please call Kent Police on 01634 792209, quoting reference 46/117293/24.
