Police Seek Witnesses After Crawley Stabbing Incident

Sussex Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following an assault on a 22-year-old man in Crawley. The incident occurred on the evening of Thursday, January 2, in the Curteys Walk area.

According to authorities, the victim was attacked by a group of three individuals within a larger group of five. The assault, which took place between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., left the man with stab wounds to his hand and leg. He was promptly transported to the hospital, where he received medical treatment. Police officers are providing ongoing support to the victim.

Increased Patrols and Public Reassurance

Police have emphasised that this is believed to be an isolated incident, posing no threat to the wider community. To further ensure public safety and gather information, officers have stepped up patrols in the area, particularly around Curteys Walk and nearby Dorsten Square.
