Probe launched after incident act carried out in Tonbridge Shop

Appeal after indecent act in Tonbridge clothing store Officers investigating an alleged indecent act inside a Tonbridge clothing store have issued CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to. It is reported that on 15 February 2018 a man entered Peacocks and carried out an offence in one of the shop’s changing rooms. He is said to have entered the High Street store at around 1.20pm and selected items of clothing, before taking them into a changing room. Staff reported the man later left the store without purchasing any goods and it is alleged an indecent act had taken place inside the changing room. Police have carried out a number of enquiries since the incident was reported, including forensics analysis of clothing seized from the scene. Officers are now able to issue CCTV images of a man they believe may also be able to assist with their enquiries. If you recognise him please call the west Kent appeals line on 01622 604100, quoting reference YY/005050/18. Alternatively contact Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
