Police in Rotherham are appealing to the public for their cooperation in identifying the owner of two Cane Corso dogs that were involved in a vicious attack on an elderly dog and caused injuries to his senior owner. The alarming incident unfolded on Wednesday, October 25, at approximately 11.30am on Hague Avenue in Rawmarsh.

According to eyewitness accounts, an 85-year-old woman was out walking her 13-year-old Labrador when two Cane Corso dogs approached them and initiated an unprovoked attack on the elderly Labrador. During the altercation, the elderly woman was knocked over and sustained head injuries. The Labrador also sustained injuries that necessitated veterinary care.
