Police are investigating after a man in his 20s was assaulted during an altercation in Barking early this morning.

Early Morning Attack

Officers were called at 05:53hrs on Monday, 25 August to reports of a man being attacked on London Road, Barking.

Appeal for Information

A Met Police spokesperson said:

“Police were called to a report of a man who had been assaulted during an altercation in London Road, Barking at 5.53am on Monday, 25 August.
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, where he remains.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to contact police by calling 101 or post on X @MetCC quoting CAD 1569/25Aug.”
