An investigation is ongoing in Eastbourne regarding an attack on a man earlier today, December 7th. The incident occurred in Wilton Avenue around 11 am, following a vehicle collision. It is believed a weapon was used in the assault.
The victim, found in a nearby property with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, has been hospitalized. A 32-year-old woman from Stone Cross is in custody, suspected of aiding an offender.
Chief Inspector Kara Tombling stated that the investigation is progressing rapidly, focusing on a group of individuals known to each other. Several suspects have been identified, and efforts are being made to apprehend them.
