Southampton city centre in Police lockdown
Officers from Hampshire police have thrown up a massive cordon in the centre of Southampton. Above Bar Street has been closed in both directions by Police between Commercial Road and Civic Centre Road and New Road junction. This is due to an on going incident taking place. Officers from Hampshire police have released more information :
They have revealed that a man with injuries, was found in Above Bar Street by officers out on patrol around 1am today (November 21).
The man was subsequently taken to hospital. Officers arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of wounding with intent and a 22-year-old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
