Yesterday evening, at approximately 11.20pm, a tragic road traffic collision occurred on Moss Lane East in Manchester. Officers responded to reports of the incident, which involved a BMW travelling along Moss Lane East, away from Princess Road towards Upper Lloyd St.
The BMW collided with a Toyota, resulting in serious injuries to a 25-year-old woman who was a passenger in one of the vehicles. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of medical professionals, the young woman passed away shortly after being taken to the hospital.
Following the incident, a 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, indicating that the circumstances surrounding the collision are being thoroughly investigated.
Authorities are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or possesses relevant footage, such as mobile, dash-cam, or CCTV footage, to come forward and assist with the investigation.
