Two feared trapped In Cowes collison
Emergency services have been called to a two vehicles collision in Cowes this afternoon. Police Isle of Wight Fire and the ambulance service were called to Newport Road in Cowes just after 3.10pm on Tuesday. Following a collision between two vehicles happened close to BAE Systems on Newport Road. Fire crews were called after fearsthat the drivers involved were trapped. Both have escaped serious injuries. crews checked and made both vehicles safe. The road remains blocked in both directions due to the wreckage of the vehicles. Traffic is reported to be slow on approach to the incident.
