Two men have been arrested after an assault on Sydenham Road on Friday evening (October 11).
The incident, which took place at around 8:12pm, left one man with facial injuries. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of affray.
A second man was also arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH).
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that their enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 8.21pm on Friday, 12 October to reports of an assault in Sydenham Road SE26. One man was found with facial injuries and was arrested on suspicion of affray. Another man was arrested on suspicion of GBH. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the altercation.
