A manhunt is currently underway after a violent incident unfolded in Gravesend town centre on New Year’s Day. The altercation occurred near Pilots Place and Bentley Street at approximately 3:10 am, resulting in injuries to two teenagers, aged 18 and 15.
Swiftly responding to the situation, officers and medics were dispatched to the scene shortly after the incident occurred. Both injured teenagers were subsequently transported to a hospital in London for treatment.
According to a Kent police spokesperson, “They were both taken to a London hospital, and neither of the victim’s injuries is believed to be life-threatening. An investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing, and officers remain in the area carrying out inquiries.”
Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or possesses information related to the case to come forward and assist with the investigation.
