A significant haul of weapons and drugs has been recovered by police following the arrest of a man in Dartford over the weekend.

Patrol officers were alerted to suspicious behaviour on Green Street Green Road in the early hours of Saturday, 22 February 2025. Acting swiftly, officers stopped and searched a 27-year-old man from the local area, seizing a quantity of cannabis, deal bags, and two mobile phones. The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.
The man remains in custody as investigations continue. Kent Police have reaffirmed their commitment to targeting drug-related crime and the possession of offensive weapons, which are often linked to wider issues of violence and anti-social behaviour.

Local residents have been encouraged to report any suspicious activity in their area to the police. Anyone with information can contact Kent Police on 101 or report anonymously via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.

The operation marks another step in Kent Police’s ongoing efforts to tackle crime and ensure the safety of the Dartford community.
