West Midlands Police are appealing for information and dashcam footage following a serious collision that occurred in Tipton.
The incident took place on Alexandra Road just after 6:30 pm on January 3, involving a silver Mercedes and a van. Two individuals from the Mercedes are currently hospitalized with serious injuries, while a man from the van sustained leg injuries.
Local authorities are conducting inquiries to establish the full circumstances of the collision. However, the police are urging anyone who was driving through the area at the time to come forward with information.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is particularly interested in obtaining dashcam footage from witnesses. Road safety is a top priority for West Midlands Police, as well as their partners, including Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), local authorities, and the region’s Police and Crime Commissioner.
Last year, these entities joined forces under the Operation Triton initiative to pledge action for enhancing road safety, and these efforts continue.
