Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted in an incident in Huddersfield.
Kirklees CID would like to speak to anyone who witnesses or has footage of the assault on a man on Bradley Boulevard between 2.15pm and 2.30pm on Saturday August 12.
It took place after two suspects approached the 30-year-old male while he was sat in his car and began to attack the vehicle with a metal bar.
The victim received injuries and fled, stopping a black VW at the junction of Bradley Boulevard and Long Hill Road.
He then ran again after the suspects hit the second car with a bat.
The two males then left the scene in a grey Audi.
One of the suspects was described as a white male, wearing a blue shirt, grey shorts, black gloves and was wearing a black man bag over his body.
The other suspect was a white male, with short hair, wearing a grey t-shirt.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to serious but non-life threatening head injuries.
A number of enquiries remain ongoing by detectives into the incident and anyone who has footage or information is asked to contact Kirklees CID on 101 referencing crime number 13230448864.
