Antrim authorities have initiated a search for missing person Alan Whiteside, as they seek to reunite him with his family for Christmas.
Mr. Whiteside, described as 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build, brown hair, and brown eyes, was last seen wearing black jeans, a black t-shirt, and black Adidas trainers.
Chief Inspector Gray of the Antrim area issued an appeal, urging anyone who believes they may have seen Alan in the vicinity of High Street, Market Square, and Halls Bridge after 10 pm on Sunday night to come forward with information.
Additionally, authorities are asking individuals with dashcam footage between 9 pm and 9:15 pm on Sunday, December 17, in Market Square to review their recordings. If anyone has footage from 9:15 pm onward on the same date in the Legion Car Park area, Antrim Forum Car Park, or Lough Road from the Antrim Forum Car Park, please report it.
Anyone with information that can assist in locating Alan Whiteside is urged to contact the police at 101, quoting reference number 1781 of December 19, 2023. Your cooperation can play a crucial role in reuniting Alan with his family during this holiday season.
