Residents of Powhatan County are being asked to stay in their homes this Thursday afternoon as authorities pursue an armed and dangerous felon.
[block_2]As of 3:46 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, the Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office has instructed residents to remain in their homes until further notice due to “law enforcement activity” in the area of 4900 Cartersville Road. The Goochland County Sheriff’s Office has similarly asked residents of the Rock Castle/West View area of Goochland to shelter in place.
