Car Seized in Brookside After Being Driven Without Tax or Valid MOT

Police in Brookside have seized a vehicle this morning after it was discovered being driven without valid road tax and with an expired MOT certificate, prompting a fresh warning to motorists across the area.
The Brookside Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) responded to concerns raised by local residents about the suspicious vehicle. Upon carrying out checks, officers found that the car’s MOT had expired in March 2024, more than a year ago.
As a result, the vehicle was immediately seized under road traffic regulations.
