Family Of Innocent Father Shot Dead In Barking Appeals For Witnesses Detectives Urge Witnesses to Come Forward Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers , leading the investigation, confirmed that significant progress has been made, but crucial details remain missing.
“Hanif was an innocent man. His death has devastated his family, friends, and the wider local community,” DCI Rogers said.
“We are yet to secure a conviction and get the justice his family deserves.”
“Were you out in Barking that night? Had you been at the birthday party at Factory 15 or another event nearby? Did you see or hear anything unusual?
“No detail is too small. Even the slightest piece of information could be the key to identifying Hanif’s murderer.”
Police Investigation and Arrests So far, two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder but were released on bail. A further seven individuals have also been arrested and either bailed or released pending further investigation .
Detectives are continuing house-to-house inquiries , reviewing CCTV footage , and urging the public to assist with their search.
