On the morning of Friday, January 26, Officers from Kent Police made a sombre discovery in the rural countryside near St Mary’s Bay on Romney Marsh. The lifeless body of a woman was found, and she was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
While formal identification is yet to take place, authorities have taken steps to inform the family of a 76-year-old woman from Romney Marsh. This individual had been reported missing earlier on the same morning the discovery was made.
At this time, the woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious by the authorities. Instead, they are preparing a comprehensive report for the coroner.
