A Maidstone resident is appealing for information after her daughter’s phone went missing while she was performing CPR on a young girl in a medical emergency.
The incident occurred on Friday, October 11, on Gabriel’s Hill. The woman’s phone was taken or picked up during the commotion, and when she attempted to call it, she heard someone laughing on the other end before the phone was turned off.
The theft has been reported to the police, and a crime number has been issued. The family is hopeful that someone may have witnessed the incident or seen the person responsible.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward to assist with the investigation.
